So the, out of touch political elite are trying to say that the public would be happy to cough up an extra £2000 a year, per household to prop up the NHS?
Advertisers website
Wrong! While many British families struggle to make ends meet, the political elite thinks that people will be glad to fund a failing business that is being run into the ground because of their failed policies on how the NHS is managed?
No. This just shows that we have monkeys running our country! Many people on Facebook have shared the above post on various pages; a large number of those people don't even do politics. If our political elite were more than just yes men weighed down by the chains of political correctness, they would see that the people of Britain have had enough.
Ever increasing taxation to try and fix their mistakes?
Continuiosly using the NHS as a stick to beat the opposition or a classic party political paper dragon! (Paper Dragon): a politician or political party who campaign to fox the problems they, themselves, cause or have caused by trying to ensure their political future! Some even create the problems intentionally so as to give themselves a reason to campaign (making themselves look busy).
The public are sick of self serving politicians who are detatched from the general public they are supposed to serve!
The revolution will come and only those truly democratic, populist politicos, with the courage of their convictions, will survive.
You really are nasty little right wing propagandists.
ReplyDeleteMmm. “truly democratic populist politicos”... that’s the sort of justification one might expect from a Mussolini or a Pinochet...
DeleteRanting about the state of the nhs, blaming politicians and foreigners, while rejecting the idea that if we want decent services we might need to pay for them. It’s incoherent, ugly politics. Very brexit.
we already pay for the nhs...what do you think national insurance is for?
DeleteThese right wing zelots love posting (as donald dump) calls it fake news... But in there case its just fictional bollocks.... Typical right wing idiots....
DeleteAre you stupid?
DeleteEvery time some one speaks common sense , we get morons like you calling ppl right wing, racist etc.
Well moron , try going to Egypt for example and gettin treatment.
No insurance = no treatment , or if must treat, need your passport then here’s your bill, don’t pay then passport isn’t returned til you do.
Now here in uk ppl come get treatment no questions asked, no bill.
That’s why we get health tourists. Pregnant women come just to give birth, free, cos in their country even that they have to pay to do.
It needs stopping . If you haven’t paid nhs for at least 5 years, then pay for treatment
Anyone with half a brain can see if you take in thousands of immigrants and so called asylum seekers with their families it is going to add to the cost of running our services. Also, as a visitor to foreign countries I take out medical insurance in case I need treatment. Why should all and sundry come here and get treatment for free?
DeleteDoesn't everyone have a national insurance card ......... show it at reception. In other countries with similar systems to the UK you have to show and prove who you are. It's quite simple really.
ReplyDeleteNope. They stopped giving out national insurance cards back in 2012. Besides it's hardly photo ID is it?
DeleteGood reason for all to have registered DNA profiles....
DeleteI'm British. You want my dna?!? Come fuckin get it. See how that works out
Deleteother countries are not as soft as ours, why do you think the a&e are so busy ? its because most of them can,t register with a gp as there illegals..so they clog the a&e with minor disorders ,wise up everyone bring in some form of nhs id cards if you ain,t got one you get charged or shown the door..
ReplyDeleteYOU stupid man there is already a NHS card and we all have NHS number, so if your not from this country you be expected to pay.STUPID STUPID read some books you might find a few things out. this whole blog has been set up by some thick stupid right wing dick head. The only reason the NHS is failing is because of the hopeless Tory party withholding funding .
DeleteJohn R. you are showing your ignorance and bias.... I and many people I know have NHS cards, bu because we have taken residence outside the UK we are not allowed free NHS treatment despite the fact of having paid into the system for over 40 years.... So I am wih the writer of this post.... foreigners should not get free NHS treatment, if they cannot prove their entitlement they should be sent back to where they came from...
DeleteThe NHS do charge non-residents already, also we have a mutual agreement with European countries that basic emergency treatment will be available for us Brits in Europe, hence the E111 card. Non emergency treatment results in a bill from the hospital - a few weeks or more after your treatment. I wish people would get their facts right; the A&E depts are mostly full of UK citizens, with lots of elderly people who tend to end up filling beds as they cannot care for themselves at home & there isn't enough care in the community. This also means that others have to wait for beds
ReplyDeleteOk so why are asylum seekers using our GP services for minor problems? Or even problems the have had for absolutely years such as back probs?
DeleteYes a few weeks or more after there treatment. When they have left the country and they then don't pay
DeleteFool! Eastern Europeans register in the U.K. and get issued NHS cards take them back to Romania/Poland and use them to get all sorts of treatment in their countries of origin and then their governments bill the NHS back in the U.K. For that treatment!! Without the UK card they would get nothing done or would have to pay! We get ripped off both ends .......... wake up!
DeleteYOUR THE FOOL it does not work that way.
DeleteE111 card no longer exists now we have EICH I wish people would get their facts right
Deleteits the EHIC ..... European Health Insurance Card . Not E111 or EICH
DeleteIts a very easy system to understand if u live in European u can register for a EHIC. This allows you to receive treatment in any European country as a resident of that country would receive it. the hospital will then submit a form and receive the money back via the card from the patient country of origin. if you are from outside of europe and are visiting or in the uk on a tempoarly basis then you shall need insurance or pay for the treatment yourself (same work for when we travel outside of europe). People can move from europe and live in the uk and as long as they are here exercising the correct rights (PAYING THERE TAXES...) They are entitled to treatment free of charge. People can move from outside europe to the uk and as long as they have a VISA or are on NASS support(for asylum seekers without help) they are also entitled to free nhs care. may i just add also the have a NHS NUMBER does not and never has entitled anyone to free nhs care and its is purely and reference number and anyone can register to get one.....

DeleteIf you look at visa applications on the GOV.uk website, anyone applying for a visa has to pay a health care supplement, so people are paying for NHS treatment one way or another
Deletedont you ever wonder who pays for the bombs we drop on children abroad. money doesnt grow on trees and were always invasding some poor cuntry with the yanks..
ReplyDeleteThe level of ignorance of Brexit supporters astounds me.
ReplyDeleteIt’s alarming. Wild baseless accusations. At the bottom it’s always the same - foreigners to blame. It’s more than ignorance.

ReplyDeleteYes you are correct! But you are forgetting one main point with your comments . That being the point of filling the form in to make a claim for the people that have received treatment, the U.K. settle any payments demanded from these other EU countries, within a few months, but when it come to these other EU countries settling their demands for payments, is another story, the ROI now have a outstanding debt to the UK for NHS services provided to their citizens, is at this moment standing at around £473 million, this as built up over the last 15 years, seeing there is many ROI citizens living in the UK, than the amount of U.K. citizens living in ROI, last year the U.K. paid back to ROI on demand of a bill of £46 million paid in full, but the U.K. government sent a bill to ROI for £38 million and only got paid £19 million, now if this is happening all over the EU members, the figures would be out of all proportion as to the U.K. NHS losing out once again, it seems come one come all to me, their governments are approving of this state of affairs, being party to the fraud, but again nobody ever mentions this fact, all adding up to the real cost of being a member of the EU!
DeleteSome Europeans that come here to live are only here for the benefit system so therefore aren’t paying their taxes and before anyone calls me a fool i know this is true as there was a documentary on tv not that long where some Europeans admitted they were only here for the benefit system as they get given an NI number then register with gp and then get into the benefit system one bloke was sending his benefit back to his country to build his house and on camera he said im going home for a few days to do work on my house paid by Britain then I’ll be back and I’ll bring one of my other kids with me so he can get into the system and be registered with a gp and the programme even showed him doing all the registration and he then turned round and said my son is now on the benefit system and he’ll get child benefit and he will be going back home to his mum and he brought another child back with him and repeated it all so how can these people be allowed to do this
ReplyDeleteIf it was on the TV , it must be true!
DeleteToo many gullible fools!
Do correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the idea to add an extra penny in the pound on income tax to help fund the NHS? Which if I'm not mistaken works out as an average of £2,000 per average household, not as each actual household actually paying an extra £2,000 each year?
ReplyDeleteI'm going to put this straight right now because unlike SOME people who post stupid meme's or worse MAKE THESE STUPID MEME'S like this!
ReplyDeleteI ASKED someone who works in the NHS. Guess what!
if you do not have an NI number once you are over 16 you don't get free treatment it's THAT simple. AND they now ask for ID to prove your from the UK. SO err yeah this meme is redundant and stupid.
Do you all even know your own laws? Let's clear this up shall we. STOP SPREADING LIES! People living outside https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/guidance-on-overseas-visitors-hospital-charging-regulations/summary-of-changes-made-to-the-way-the-nhs-charges-overseas-visitors-for-nhs-hospital-care
ReplyDeletePeople who live outside the EEA, including former UK residents, should now make sure they are covered by personal health insurance, unless an exemption applies to them. Anyone who does not have insurance will be charged at 150% of the NHS national tariff for any care they receive.
I thought that we where going forward but are going backwards to before 1948 we had a labour goverment so now the feckin tories are wanting to spoil it for us again who the feck voted them in all they want to do is make life good/better for the haves and fuck the have nots same old same old
ReplyDeleteErm, non-EU citizens are already charged for using the NHS (apart from A&E care). This meme, like so many others, is designed simply to mislead and wind nationalists up.
ReplyDeleteIt does so well at dragging out the leftist shit and entertains as they spit thier dummies and throw thier favourite ted bears. Blame the government, the people that could have still controlled borders, set limits, or even invested into the infrastructure. They didnt and there is only so much time and money available to the NHS. If you havent paid into the NHS with contrabutions, then you dont deserve the use of the NHS. Free for everyone is no longer an option. The harder the brexit, the better the end result will be. There will be dark days, but they will get better outside of that corrupt organization and then our brothers and sisters from around europe will follow suit.
ReplyDeleteWTF. You "LEFTIES" & "CORBYN" are even worse, than the right wing.
ReplyDeleteGod helpus if "Bloody 'COMMIE'Cobyn" gets the key to no' 10.
He ruin us n make the UK. Bankrupt. FFS.
I hate to break it to you moaning little leftards, this post has had 327,000 shares!
ReplyDeleteI am in Uk 10 years and I have been 3x in hospital...and when I had some serious medical problems in 2013, my first visit in hospital in UK, I have been asked for my residency and I got long form to fill in so I do not know why ppl still saying no questions when foregin ppl come to hospital..
ReplyDeleteThank you for this post, and very true. A lot of so called do gooders, will shout, as they always do, when the truth is spoken. Bodies that lay in wait for posts just like this. Yes politicians are a disgrace, any politician that tries to get their own way which is different than the majority, is doing so, only to be awkward and hold up what the electorate has voted for. What next I ask, what happens when the next general election comes round and their party is elected, will we wait over 2 years before they take up power. The country voted to leave, yes we all know that the Prime minister at the time felt the vote would be to remain and that shows how out of touch with the public he and his party, plus the shadow government also. Who knew before the vote that it was to take 2 years, yes not many I guess. The vote also was to close our borders and they are still wide open with migrants arriving every day, since the vot over a million have arrived and then there are the illegals that probably doubles that number. Remember they all get cars and all need homes and National care, remember these so called politicians whe you vote again and the do gooders that will shout this comment down
ReplyDeletefair enough if we charge, but do the bills get paid and if not are we robust enough in chasing payment
ReplyDeleteI do love how the left always reduce matters down to race whilst calling others racists.. We're discussing paying for national services here, whether folks be red, yellow, black or white is irrelevant..but hey, we've become so accustomed to it now that word means nothing anymore,
