RUSSIAN pranksters with suspected links to Vladmir Putin's spies fooled Boris Johnson for nearly 20 minutes into thinking he was speaking on the phone to a foreign prime minister, it emerged today. The stunt was carried out by Alexei Stolyarov and Vladimir Kuznetsov who under their stage names Lexus and Vovan have hoaxed a series of VIPs, including by posing as Mr Putin in a call to Elton John, and as the Ukrainian president on the line to Turkey's leader Recep Erdoğan.
