Donald Trump has returned a bust of Winston Churchill to the Oval Office. The bust was removed by his predecessor Barack Obama in 2009.

Recently, in a meeting with Mr Trump, Nigel Farage suggested the bust be returned upon Mr Trump becoming president. Trump agreed and is clearly a man of his word.

It was within his first few days as President that Obama moved the bust out of sight into the White House residence. Obama later installed separate busts of Martin Luther King Jr. and President Lincoln in its place.
A spokesperson for British Government confirmed last week that Trump had personally asked if Britain would loan the bust of Churchill to the U.S. once he took office.
